2014 Summer Study Abroad
Dr. Rennie Brantz from Appalachian State University’s Department of History will lead a First Summer Session Study Abroad trip to Germany, France, and Austria from May 11through June 6, 2014.
The program is open to students and adult learners and will include seminars in Strasbourg, France; and on-site lectures and tours in Munich, Dachau, Salzburg, Nuremburg, and Heidelberg.
Participants may earn six hours of academic credit in two courses (each class carries 3 sh credit):
History 3533 – The Nazi Holocaust; and History 3534 – Film and the Holocaust.
Accommodations: Double rooms with two meals per day in Strasbourg's Chateau de Pourtales.
- Hotels, Pensions, or Hostels and two meals per day while traveling.
Costs: Program costs including airfare, room and board, European transportation, admissions, insurance: $5,690
- Tuition and spending money are extra
- $300 deposit with application
- Tuition must be paid in full by April 1, 2014
- Student Financial Aid available to qualified students.
