After the end of the omicron wave and in light of the gradual removal of travel restrictions, the Appalachian State's Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies has renewed its grant program that will financially and logistically support ASU students who are interested in conducting research in Israel, including at Akko, Western Galilee, home to Western Galilee College in May 2022. WGC's Holocaust Studies program is a partner institution of the Center. All enrolled ASU students who work on topics in Jewish, Holocaust and Peace Studies and meet the remaining criteria are eligible to apply. We are grateful to our donors and supporters, especially the Charles and Nancy Rosenblatt Family Foundation, the Miriam and Abe Brenner Holocaust Edication Scholarshop Fund and the Greensboro Jewish Federation, for making this program possible.
