 AppTV Re-Broadcasts Last ASU Presentation by Auschwitz Survivor Dr. S. Cernyak-Spatz z''l To commemorate the life and work of Auschwitz survivor and Holocaust Studies professor Dr. S. Cernyak-Spatz z''l, the Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies has partnered with AppTV and the USC Shoah Foundation, LA, to broadcast her last visit to campus in Boone in 2018. During the last few years, Dr. Cernyak-Spatz was a frequent visitor to Appalachian State University, educating more then 1,500 women, men and teenagers about the Nazi genocide of European Jewry and the ways in which the extreme right destroyed democracy.
